more about me

This is me. Apparently people like to know what other people look like, so there ya go.

Ok, so if you clicked on this page, it’s because you want the nitty gritty details of the author of this blog. You’re just not satisfied with what you’ve had to piece together from my posts and you probably want to know if I’m really an alien or something.

I hate to disappoint you, but there’s just not much to say. What you read around here is pretty much what you’d get if you actually knew me. With the exception that I’m totally an introvert and it would take me awhile to warm up to you and feel comfortable being my zany self.

I homeschool my gremlins, I’ve been married to My Man for going on 11 years. I want to publish some books when I grow up. And maybe play my songs, with my husband, for some people who will listen. I have a very full life and some of it I like, and some of it I don’t. I try to find a reason to laugh at everything, if you haven’t already noticed.

My vanity would like for me to go on and on about me, myself, and I, but I feel pretty stupid writing what’s already here. Here is a nifty fast fact list that might answer some basic things you’re dying? to know.

age 30’s

live in Kansas

wished I lived in NW Washington State by the ocean

I draw, paint, sing, write fiction, non-fiction, non-sense, music, and the madness that is this blog

I love God’s creation in the form of nature

I can’t stand the sound/sensation of cotton balls rubbing up against itself

I’ve gone from innocent child of God to total heathen to legalistic Christian to “I’m still a Christian, but with way more questions than answers”

I have no idea what I’m doing as a parent half the time so I’m just wingin’ it with a hope and a prayer

I’m content.

Thanks for reading my crazy stuff.

I love your site. This is so cool. I completely agree with you on “The Skinny”. I actually saw that mag and might have even bought it. I am ashamed to admit that. I hate how those stupid mags make me feel and it is completely irrational.

See you in the check out lane :)

    Your babies are so cute!

You homeschool…my hat’s off to you! I think if I did that my kids would be dummer than a tack…or you’d find me curled up in a corner drooling and in a fetal position. I really like your blog. I makes me smile!
