I’ve hem hawed around long enough. I’ve made a hard decision. Let me explain.
Awhile back I tried to hop on the band wagon of cool hip bloggers with their own domains. My Man finally approved the $100 up front that we really didn’t have to spend (thanks Discover), and I signed up for my own domain and got as far as picking a free WordPress theme.
And I’m not going to bore you with all the dirty details, but after three hours and slow technical support, I ended up in tears and canceled the whole thing. And I thought I was so technically savvy. I just couldn’t do it. Apparently installing my own wordpress blog was not a three minute setup.
One of the reasons I even considered this was because the free WordPress I currently use does not allow ads, or selling from your blog in anyway, unless it’s a link so discreet no one knows about it. Nor do they allow changes in your template and other technical stuff like that. Font color and size is important to me, folks. I’m very visual.
But, they’ve been a swell place to blog. Hence the Hem-Hawing around. I’m comfortable here.
But I set up a blogger. For the freedom to do what I want over there. You can’t begrudge a girl for wanting to promote her business and make a little moola.
And if you follow me over there, you might find a surprise waiting. Something you really, really want. I’m not above bribing my friends. I just love you guys so much.
So come visit me over there. I even have a new title, only because I’ve since discovered there are several “Organized Chaos” blogs out there and you know I can’t be like everyone else. I think you’ll like the new one. You know what to do.

So apparently some other people like my madness enough to let it infiltrate another blog. If you haven’t checked this neat blog out, head over there. Aside from my usual nonsense, which is on there today, there are some quality writers on there to check out every day.

Just so you’re not freaked out, yes, you are at Gremlin Central. In case you’re new around here, let me clue you in:
My name is Carrie, and I’m a change-aholic. Not that most people care about templates and so forth, but apparently some people have psychotic breaks when they visit a blog and expect to see a certain thing, and it’s gone.
So for me, a new template is a grand thing. Most of you probably read this madness through a nifty feeder anyway, so nevermind to you. But the thing I love about this new template is:
Wondering who won the giveaway?

I shouldn’t be telling you this because I want to win it. But 5 Minutes For Mom is having a little giveaway. That’s if you can handle one of these bad boys:
It’s only because I love you that I’m telling you. They’ll pick a winner October 1st. So hurry!
And scroll on down for your regularly scheduled dose of nonsense, please.

“This award is for those bloggers who are nice people; good blog friends and those who inspire good feelings and inspiration. Also for those who are a positive influence on our blogging world. Once you’ve been awarded please pass it on to 7 others who you feel are deserving of this award.”
A new friend, Sarah, gave me this perty award. Really, she’s the nice one for thinkin’ of silly ol’ me and for saying that her life seems to parallel mine. It makes me feel a little less odd to know I’m not alone in the craziness.
And seven people? Really? I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings by leaving them out. And some of these folks might have gotten this already, but oh well, here goes:
Hallie: She is so nice, now she’s becoming a good fiend friend that writes back and forth with me through email. And she can shoot a handgun! Only nice people can do that and be pretty at the same time.
Cheryl: Another nice lady, and a fellow musician. I enjoy reading her nice thoughts.
Kathleen: Her “name” is Coffee Mom, and there is nothing nicer than coffee in my opinion. That alone has endeared me to her.
Karen: Her kids are mostly grown and she is always has an encouraging comment for me.
Sunydazy Days: Just one look around her blog and you’ll have no doubt of her niceness. A different nice than me,though, I can assure you.
And two real life fiends friends, because I’m so glad to have some flesh and blood people that I also know here in blogland.
Rachel: She’s about to have a baby, and that is nice. And she also trusted me to take over her worship team at church while having said baby. That was also nice of her.
Catastrophe Rising: She likes to be anonymous. I think that’s real nice. She makes me laugh at work and she writes some things that aren’t necessarily nice in the traditional sense, but thought provoking. And that’s nice. Ok??
And can I just say that every one of these nice gals and some that I didn’t mention (sorry!) have given me so much thought lately. Because I’ve never really had a lot of fiends friends, being an introvert and all. And I think it would be so nice and rad if we could all get together and party like muppets because it sounds like we all have more in common than I’ve ever experienced with people before.
Thanks Mr. Internet, for making nice friendships possible.

By now you might’ve realized that when I title something “Station Break” it’s to announce something outside my usual madness. I like to keep the flow of quirky writing going for your entertainment, but sometimes something just too good comes along, and I just have to throw it in the mix.
For example.
My friend Hallie, who comments on my madness all the time, bless her soul, has a bookstore. And she’s a hard workin’ single mom and still pulls something like this together:

Go Hallie!!

Just in case you read this feed through a feed thinger, and didn’t notice some new links I had down on my sidebar, and maybe you don’t get around much here in blogville, so you didn’t already know about the totally kickin’ contest for an HDtv over here.
Thanks to Best Buy!
Now back to regularly scheduled programming.

Sorry for the interruption of your reading all my madness.
I don’t have a nature blog anymore. If you liked it—sorry. If you didn’t know about it—-forget it.
If you thought it was a stupid idea—I don’t really want to hear it.
Now scroll down for the regular madness that happens here on a semi-normal basis.

If you’re confused about all the dates on the previous posts, too bad.
Just kidding. I’m going to be blogging here indefinately. The fact that your reading this either means you’ve followed me from my other blog, and I love you for reading my nonsense, or you’ve found me some other way. For you latter peoples, the previous posts are some of my more recent ones from my other blog. I didn’t have the option of importing the whole thing, nor did I have the brain energy to sit here and copy and paste 128 posts from the last year.
Thanks for reading.
